Will you make me rewrite everything?
Almost never. This isn’t about judging your code or telling you to start over. Building with AI is a good way to work, and most of what I find is smaller than people expect. I tell you what matters and leave the rest, so you spend your effort where it counts.
What do I actually get?
You get a Launch Plan: a written, prioritised list covering everything I looked at, what I found, and what to do about it. What to fix before you go live, what to sort out soon, and what’s safe to leave for later. From there I can help you work through the fixes, as much or as little as you want.
How long does it take?
The plan usually takes one to two weeks from the point I have access. Any hands-on work after that depends on what I find and how much you would like me to take on, and I agree it with you first.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The plan is written so a non-technical founder can follow it, with the technical detail there for whoever ends up doing the work.
What do you need from me?
Access to the code and a running version of the app, plus a short description of what it does and where it’s hosted. I’ll walk you through exactly what to share.
Is my code and data kept private?
Yes. Everything you share is treated as confidential, and I’m happy to sign an NDA before you send anything over.
What if you find something serious?
I flag it clearly and tell you how urgent it is. Finding it now, before your users do, is the whole point, and it’s far cheaper than dealing with it after launch.
Can you help me fix what you find?
Yes, and for most founders that’s the point. I build software as well as assess it, so I can work through the fixes with you and develop new features over time. Plenty of founders keep me on as a partner as their app grows. Whatever suits you, there’s no obligation.
What if I want you to do the fixing too?
If you decide to bring me in to put things right, the cost of your plan is credited in full against the Launch Sprint. So the plan is never money spent twice: it’s either a standalone deliverable you keep, or the first step of the work we do together.
