A fixed-scope engagement to get you to launch

- Those are delivered in full, even if it takes me longer than planned
- Delivered in 3-4 weeks
- For most clients, this is enough to get them to launch. For more complex apps, further work may be required. This will be discussed and agreed up-front before development begins.

Will you make me rewrite everything?
No. A lot of developers are snooty about AI-generated code. I'm not. I appreciate what it's good at, and know its blind spots. Most of the time the fixes are fairly simple, if you know where to look.
What do I actually get with a Launch Plan?
The Launch Plan is delivered as a PDF document. It outlines the 8 categories I look at, and where you stand on each one. It then details every single issue I found, in priority order, so you know where to start.
How long does a Launch Plan take?
Usually between one and two weeks from the point I have access to your app and code. I keep you updated throughout.
Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. I'm used to communicating complex topics to non-technical people (in fact, I do it for fun). There are no silly questions and I'm always at the end of an email or a call to clarify.
What do you need from me?
I'll take you through every step of the process, but typically access to the code and a running version of the app I can look at.
Is my code and data kept private?
Yes. Everything you share is treated as confidential, and I’m happy to sign an NDA before we begin. Some clients generously allow me to showcase their apps as case studies - this would always be discussed with you first.
What if you find something serious?
If you're already live, I'll let you know straight away. I can fix it for you or recommend emergency remediation steps. If you're still in preview, it goes right to the top of your Launch Plan and we tackle it first.
What happens if something takes longer than you thought?
I charge fixed prices for fixed scope, so you know what you're getting and how much it'll cost. If it takes me longer, you don't pay any extra, and I go home and practice my estimation.
